According to SSB (2025), 1,642 SEAT cars are registered in Norway (0.1% of all passenger cars). We use market data and inspection history when valuing your SEAT.

What is a SEAT worth?

Sonja lets dealers bid on a SEAT in a time-limited auction. The price is set by competition — photos and a self-declaration are the documentation. You choose whether to sell.

How much does it cost to use Sonja?

Using Sonja costs nothing: prep, review and the auction are free. We charge a fee from the buying dealer — you as the seller pay nothing. When you sell a SEAT, we assess it based on market data and condition—still at no cost to you.

Do I have to drop the car off somewhere?

No. The car stays with you. We need photos and a few answers. If you accept the highest bid, we arrange collection.

How quickly does the auction start?

Finish photos and answers today, and the auction can start and end tomorrow. It normally starts the next weekday at 09:00 and runs the same day. Then you have the highest bid ready, and can in theory sell the car tomorrow. You have plenty of time to accept or decline.

Which cars can I list?

Most SEAT cars can be listed in the auction. We assess year, mileage and condition for your specific car.

What is the difference from a private sale?

A private sale means listing the car, filtering inquiries and having strangers visit your home for viewings. With Sonja, dealers bid in a time-limited auction. You choose whether to sell — at no cost if you decline.

Does Sonja use EU inspection data for SEAT in its assessment?

Yes. Historical PKK data (periodic vehicle inspection) for SEAT models is one of several factors dealers look at. Inspection data from the road authority shows approval rates and typical defect patterns per model.

What do I need to do to sell my car?
