Terms of Service

These terms govern use of sonja.no. Binding sales, bids and mandates are entered into and accepted in the relevant flow, under separate terms shown there. Using the site to read information or send a non-binding request is not the same as entering into a sale contract.

About the service
Sonja AS intermediates and completes used-car sales. You can register your car for a price estimate and possibly receive a digital offer, list the car in an auction, instruct Sonja to sell on commission, or — as a dealer or private bidder — bid on cars in an auction.
Your obligations
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and complete. Sellers confirm that they are the lawful owner or have authority to sell. Inaccurate information may result in an offer being withdrawn or an agreement not being completed.
Non-binding estimates
A price estimate is not a binding offer. A final offer, bid or commission mandate becomes binding only when you expressly accept it on the relevant page. You have no obligation to accept an estimate or an offer.
Liability
Sonja is not liable for losses arising from acting or failing to act based solely on a price estimate. Estimates are indicative. For binding sales, bids and mandates, the specific terms you accepted apply, together with ordinary Norwegian background law.
Governing law
These terms follow Norwegian law. If a disagreement arises, it is handled by Norwegian courts. Oslo District Court is the venue. Sonja AS, org. no. 931 445 073, Hoffsveien 4, 0275 Oslo.
Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or by a prominent notice on the website. Binding terms for auctions, digital offers, commission and the dealer portal have their own version; after a material change we ask for a new acceptance before you can use that service.
